Charging mobile phones and i-Pods on holidays in New Zealand
How will you charge your mobile phone, iPod or MP3 player when travelling around in a campervan?
You will want to keep making phone calls andd listening to your music that's for sure.
Either buy a DC12v charger for every device you want to charge or...
Tip
First, and obviously, make sure you take a power plug adapter to convert your plug from home us to that of New Zealand.
Next, when your camper os parked up and hooked into mains electricity find the mains input fuse box. the microwave is usually plugged in here. Unplug the microwave and plu in your adapter. Your phoneipodmp3 player will not charge up no problem.
Alterbatively plug them in in the showerblock or communal kitchen - but unless you are willing to leave themn there to charge you're going to have to stick around to make sure they don't go missing.
